Metranome was a privately held software development company based out of Waterloo Ontario, part of Canada's Technology Triangle. Metranome was recognized by Branham Group in 2009 as one of the Top 25 'Up and Comers' in Canada ICT Industry and was awarded the Top 20 Innovative Company in Canada by the Canadian Innovation Exchange in 2009. Metranome was acquired by Desire2Learn Incorporated in 2010.
